Did Someone Say "Gift Exchange"?
This time of year is the time for giving, receiving and lots of different gift exchange parties. Whether it’s an ugly sweater gift exchange, white elephant or secret santa…it’s time to start thinking about the gifts that you need. And don’t forget those hostess gifts for the different parties that you will be attending.
With that in mind, here are a few of our favorite gifts that are easy to create.
For the those girl’s night out gift exchanges, we created this cute gift. A martini glass from your local dollar store, a jar of olives and a mini bottle of their favorite vodka. Pair that with our Mix, Mingle and Be Merry disposable coasters and you have the perfect gift. Put them all in a bag, tie with a ribbon and use one of our Mix & Be Merry Gift stickers for the outside.
For the cookie exchange or baker, we love this idea. A set of our holiday recipe cards from our shop and a cookie cutter from the Dollar Store. We purchased a package of cookie cutters and tied one on each of the packages. We used our matching Homemade Cookies gift tag to tie in the bow.
If you are looking for something a little different, think about a can of homemade cookies and include the recipe on one of the recipe cards. Don’t want to make the cookies, give a container of frozen cookie dough, a cookie cutter and the recipe.
Exchanging with someone that likes to entertain, any of our disposable coasters make the perfect gift.
For that person that’s hard to buy for and loves to organize their life, our 6x6 lucite tray with one of the interchangeable inserts is perfect. Choose from one of our everyday designs and add a holiday design insert that they can use for Christmas.
Finally, for those parties that you are attending, a Southern Girl always takes the perfect hostess gift. Be sure to keep a few of our bar towels or a set of note cards on hand for those last minute holiday parties.
SOUTHERN HOSTESS TIP: During the Holiday Season, it’s always good to have a gift or two on hand for those unexpected people that drop by or those unexpected party invites.
